The media is one of the most influential tools of our society because it shapes our group values and ideas. Sustain Hawaii's success largely depends on the media to consistently get the word out. Through the help of our local media partners, we hope to stimulate action toward creating a more sustainable Hawaii.
Sustain Hawaii will create a number of public awareness campaigns. Each campaign will reinforce the core concept of improving the quality of each of our lives through environmental, social and economic unification. We affect and are effected by each others actions and inactions, so the better we work together, the easier it will be for us each to attain betterment.
Our approach involves identifying a common goal (universal needs) and then creating specific action plans to satisfy those needs. Sustain Hawaii will use TV, radio, print, the internet and grassroots efforts to keep you up to date on our progress, and how you can help shape a better, more sustainable Hawaii.
