We need tools that will allow people to take action easily and efficiently. The Policy Portal is designed to allow you, the organization, to easily set up a web page that will allow people to submit testimony to a specific committee on a specific bill. You can then direct your online constituency to this web page and track the results. You'll be able to submit larger numbers of testimonies in a timely and efficient way. Since your online members won't have to worry about the formalities and technical headers that go along with the testimony, they can focus instead on personalizing their testimony and their message, then simply click "submit". |

Our MissionOur mission is to help allow the sun to shine in on the legislative process. Our first priority is to make it easy for busy people to submit testimony. Typically, submitting testimoy is a cumbersome process that requires people to read the online citizens guide on how to submit testimony, research what committee the bill is in, set up the message heading in the correct way, then either put their message in the mail, or hand deliver it to the Capitol. There aren't too many people who realistically have time to do all of that. With our testimony submittal tool, we can do all of the technical legwork for people so that they can get all the info they need easily and efficiently, type out their personal testimony, and submit that testimony with the click of a button. |
